We often hear in television reports India is making remarkable progress and witnessing significant development. But is this really the case? On the one hand, investors in the share market are reaping tremendous benefits, but on the other hand, unemployment in rural areas of India is steadily rising. This raises the question of whose development is being celebrated and who truly benefits from it.
