As the BJP is glorifying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s claim of supplying electricity to all the villages in India, multiple reports suggest that there are many villages awaiting electricity connection. As per government data, only 8 % of villages have all houses with electricity connections. On household electrification, the worst performing prime minister in the last 27 years is Narendra Modi. On the other side, hundreds of electricity workers are dying every year while working.
