Exclusive: Alfred Kan-Ngam Arthur on Congress' Position and Plans in Manipur

We catch up with INC’s sitting MLA for Ukhrul at his home in Imphal. Alfred is among the state’s most vocal legislators and has led the committee that drafted the critical HAC Autonomous District Councils Bill 2021. The Bill was eventually blocked from tabling by the BJP-led government in Manipur. He outlined the Congress, and Manipur Progressive Secular Alliance's position on key economic issues, AFSPA, the lack of development in the hill areas, and explained why the BJP is a threat to the plural fabric of Manipur.
