Protest Against War

Protest Against War in Jantar Mantar

Continuing our Citizens Against War series, we present a ground report from Jantar Mantar, Delhi. On November 9, several organisations called a cultural protest against war-mongering between India and Pakistan. Called “Action Against Warmongering”, the day saw several prominent speakers and cultural groups telling our leaders, “Make art, not war”. Over the last few months, there has been an increase in war mongering between India and Pakistan after India claimed to have made surgical strikes against strategic locations in Pakistan on September 29, 2016. Watch our report here:

Several artists participated in the event.
