The Gulbarg Society massacre of 28 February, during the 2002 Gujarat riot killed many. Ehsan Jafri was one among the thousands who were killed in the Gujarat massacre. Mobs filled with communal hatred burned down houses and massacred thousands of Muslims in Gujarat.

Newsclick in collaboration with Communalism Combat talked to his wife Zakia Jafri and daughter, Nishrin Jafri Hussain. Their house burnt, their lives at stake, they barely survived. They go down the memory lane, talking about their personal and political fight. 15 years later, the justice is still awaited.
